Doctoral research fellow in the History of Religions, Stockholm University, Sweden.
Specialist in Satanism, Western esotericism, and fin-de-siècle culture. Particularly interested in the reciprocal relationship between visual art, literature and esotericism in late nineteenth century Europe. Also interested in silent cinema, Wicca, and the witch figure in fiction.
Currently co-editing an anthology about Satanism for Oxford University Press, to be published later this year.
Editor of the ESSWE newsletter.
