About
I received my PhD the 5th of June 2009 with the thesis" Music from the Backyard - about Hagström's Music Education". The thesis was a continuation of an interest for pragmatism in the heritage of John Dewey where I have published and presented on aesthetic communication.
Presently I work on issues of open source, democracy and education both philosophically and through action research. Another theme I am working on is the life stories of students who have either experienced teachers who have encouraged or discouraged their relation to music and how this has shaped their musical selves.
