About
Fredrik Charpentier Ljungqvist is Secretary for the Centre of Medieval Studies at Stockholm University, Sweden, and is a medieval historian and palaeoclimatologist. He has published a number of articles on medieval history and palaeoclimatology and written a book about how climate changes have affected mankind throughout the course of history. Currently, he is writing his PhD thesis on the ideology of kingship in the medieval Scandinavian laws. He is employed as PhD Student Ombudsman at the Stockholm University Student Union.
